Thirteen Jersey Cows Rescued
This morning at 7:37am, the St. Catherine’s Lifeboat was tasked to assist Jersey Fire and Rescue after reports of 14 cows in the water in Grouville Bay.
Once on scene, the crew found several cows up to 300 metres offshore. Ropes were quickly attached to secure the heifers alongside the lifeboat, allowing the crew to carefully tow them back to shore.
Sadly, one of the cows was brought back to shore deceased.
