A large power driven vessel became fouled on a pot buoy in the La Rocque area and a decision was taken to call for assistance.

The St Helier ALB was launched to assist in freeing the casualty vessel from the buoy.

The St Helier ALB then towed the vessel back into St Helier.

Just after the vessel was put along side another call of a vessel experiencing engine problems while in the small roads was received. The St Helier ALB then proceeded to assist and towed the stricken vessel back to safety.
