Joining the Fundraising team in 2020 seemed a natural step after my partner Dave had joined the crew. Myself and our little boys often found ourselves enjoying the various fundraising events or 'shaking' a bucket! Whether it be sandy feet or wet boots - the sea is inevitably an integral part of our lives in Jersey, as such the role the RNLI in allowing us to enjoy the water with the knowledge that the experienced crews will be there should be we ever need them is so important. Fast forward a few years and by 2022 our family were fully ensconced into the RNLI family and I was elected Chair of the Fundraising Guild. I am proud to help guide our fabulous and welcoming team of volunteers in raising funds to support our lifeboat and lifeguards.
