I joined the St Catherine's RNLI crew in 2020 having recently moved to Jersey but first joined the RNLI at the age of 17, following in my father's footsteps, as he had served both on board and as a tractor driver - I was dragged down to the station in north Wales most Sundays since I was a baby. My brother also worked for the RNLI full time at Chiswick Lifeboat. I have been a life-long lover of the sea, and am now a Master Mariner and yacht racer. I tried living in the countryside but that didn’t work! I like to hear, smell and respect the sea.
